Barney Stinson knows best
I am so happy that I am not a senior in high school right now. For one, I'd be questioning the function of my bowel movements due to the constant fear of possible rejections and whatever stress college imposes on a person. Thankfully, I was hardly this way, considering I had been accepted to a school nearly three days after I clicked 'submit' on my application. What I'm trying to say is, RELAX CLASS OF '09. Sheesh y'all, your stress is just not working for my aura! Slightly kidding...but relax, relax, relax, all the strenuous time and effort of trying to archetypically (don't think that is a legit word, red squiggly line told me so) compress your life within 500 words is done with. In the words of Rihanna, "just live your life (oh!)...ay, ay, ay". Start getting sentimental and teary eyed that it's your last semester of high school, or you know whatever.ALSO, if anyone is ever in a situation of contemplating between Western and (insert school here), this oughta convince you because if Neal Patrick Harris can't, then I don't know who can.
If anyone is an avid viewer of How I Met Your Mother, you should know by now that Barney Stinson (played by Neal Patrick Harris aka Doogie Howser) is constantly referring to his blog and this fictional character's official blog does exist!! And for those who never watch this show, I feel very very sorry for you. Anyway, in his January 19th blog, he talks in great detail of his Bingo game. "Every year I take the top 25 party schools and arrange them on a bingo card. The rules are simple*: Sleep with a collegiate hottie then mark her school on the board. Bingo = five in a row in any direction – up, down, across, upside down, missionary, etc." As I was perusing his Bingo card, I noticed that Western's Fairhaven College was on it! I first questioned the validity of these colleges, maybe they were made up. I mean Ball State U?? Does that really exist? (It does.) Maybe there was even more than one Fairhaven College. (There isn't) Everything else seemed legitimate though. But, wow. I would have never known. True or not, Western's street credit just transcended enormously, all the way past Mt. Baker, for being recognized by Barney Stinson (even if it is for notable partying)
