Snowpocalypse
jayna: omgg!! i saw DUY FALL IN THE SNOWwanita: HAHAHAHAH
jayna: FUNNIEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE
wanita: when?
jayna: today!!!!
jayna: hahahahahaha
wanita: The snow should be his natural habitat
jayna: we were walking down his driveway and all of a sudden i hear a "ooOOOOo!!!!" in a piggy squeal and I SEE HIM ON THE GROUND
jaynakawawa: IN STAR FORM
The funniest thing about this is, I can actually imagine Duy on the ground. In star form. You know it starts to get bad when penguins start slipping and sliding in their natural habitat. If you don't know Duy, he is the closest thing to a human penguin.
Thanks to the blizzard, accumulating a good 6 or so inches of snow - thus confining me in my home, I managed to knock off two very important things on my two do list, in a shorter amount of time. (comma splice ftw) 1. Finish all 4 seasons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and 2. Finish reading Twilight. I kind of did this knocking 2 birds with 1 stone effect by watching an episode after every chapter I completed. Genius. almost.
I conclude that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the best thing that ever happened to television and the Twilight novel was only half of the awesomeness I expected it to be. Knowing the plot by watching the movie first does have it's disadvantages I suppose....on to New Moon!
So, if I did happen to stay home through these past four days or so of snow, I would probably be dead by now. Good thing I stayed at Sophie's the past two days to save MY sanity and hers. Rather than being bored and alone at each of our houses, we ended up being bored together at one house. One great thing about the snow while staying at Sophie's house on a rather large incline is that I went sledding for the first time ever! On a legitimate sled and not some make-shift wannabe trash can lid that I always joke about. I have been void of a typical American childhood growing up.
And the con of all this is that it brings out the unnecessary paranoia among my already Asian parents. They certainly aren't Asian about other things, but leave it up to them to shit bricks over the slightest drops of snow on the ground. I can already predict I won't be driving very much over break.
The thing that pisses me off the most about my lack of mobility is that I keep receiving these awesome coupons in my e-mail from Borders that rewards me 40% off books...and I can't make it out to buy them in this weather.
Well high school kids, I hope you enjoy this weather you wished upon!
