Oh, here's also something that may be of reassurance: It is 2009, the United States is far more technologically and scientifically advanced than ever. I think we're in a pretty good place as far as treating illnesses goes.

Flus occur all the time, but what can we learn from this particular H1N1 flu? Wash your hands?! Cover your mouth when you sneeze?! Do not share drinks that have already been contaminated?! Stay home when you are sick?! I have never heard of this before!
